Milagros meets the world

On April 1, 2009 at 4:03 a.m. me and my wife welcomed our first child, Milagros into the world. At just 23 weeks of gestation she weighed in at 1lb 2oz and was under a foot long. While small, she has shown herself to be a fighter. We look forward to the day when she will come home with us.

Mom and dad have been on a roller coaster ride this past 2.5 weeks. The ride would have been more difficult without all the support and prayers of family and friends. Your prayers are working, thank you (and don’t stop just yet).
