.htaccess

Instead of using my MAMP sandbox I killed my blog over the weekend. I added a full fledged TikiWiki install to play around with. Because I only wanted to play with it (yes, again instead of using MAMP) I added .htaccess and .htpasswrd files to password protect the install and ended up first blocking all of farbelow, then just everything beyond the homepage. I knew I wasnt completely sunk, cause I could search farbelow and get a hit list, just couldnt see any posts. I played with it for a while trying to figure out what I did wrong, but I had no luck. Fresh from work today I figured it out. In my zelousness to remove the offending .htaccess file, I deleted the wrong one!

Alls well that ends well I guess. Next time I will fire up MAMP before I mess with farbelow.net. I hate it when I have to RELEARN my lessons.
