Oh that quirky YouTube. You never know what you will find. Can you imagine a song about a German furniture designer and architect, complete with dancing, singing and dreaming? Well, the makers of this video could.

Now to say that Mies Van Der Rohe was just an architect or furniture designer is unfair. He revolutionized the skyscraper making it what we know a modern skyscraper to be. He designed what were then radical living spaces that were open, flowing and not only integrated with the landscape but fully open to it. Not to mention that icon of modern seating the Barcelona chair. Which is as fresh and striking as it was when it was produced. Try here, here and here for more information on Mies.
